CRAB is the future rural creative hubs community.

Think maker labs in barns, coliving in cottages, and pop-up galleries in forgotten towns.

Right now, we’re scouting Europe’s most unexpected innovators – and putting them on the map.

Check the map of CRAB spaces here.

Tracking village spaces where tech and creativity solve real problems. Spaces which don’t think only what happens under their roofs but keeping young people in town with local tech jobs, turning empty barns into places that boost the whole community, and teaching skills that cut energy costs for everyone nearby.

We’re building a unique map that uncovers Europe’s most surprising rural creative spaces—places where innovation grows between mountains, forests, and small village streets. Each dot on the map is a story of one space.

This past May, we hosted our first event in Treballu, Sardinia. 20 rural spaces joined us for a three-day networking event.

Next year, we will organize a one-day conference in Sende, where we will invite 30 spaces.
